Ruan & Cherily : E-Shoot

I found the lovely residence of the Raubenheimers farm in Johannesburg and fell in love with the scenery. The farm is situated against a hill with lovely veld grass and rock formations. They also breed the most beautiful horses. All of this was our background for the fun filled shoot with Ruan & Cherily.

I was looking forward to the shoot and they didn't disappoint. I never had to ask Ruan to kiss Cherily as he stared into her eyes, his lips followed instinctively. With the couple setting God as their centre of their relationship, this couple vows to grow old together.

I would like to thank Lydia Robbertse, my lovely assistant, for coming along with the shoot and giving us creative insights.

We are looking forward to the sun, sand and surf beach wedding in June.

Cherily & Bridesmaids

The bride to be Cherily, asked me if we could do a shoot with her 4 bridesmaids. 5 Lovely ladies in front of my camera.... no man will say no for an opportunity like this.

I had the lovely setting of the Raubenheimer's farm in the heart of Honeydew. Set against a hill, this gave us awesome dimensions for poses and backgrounds.

The Ladies were lots of fun and kept me entertained. It was not difficult to ask for smiles as they were permanently stuck to the ladies faces. I could understand why Cherily chose these 4 best friends for life. They enjoy life to the full, never a dull moment.

I'm looking forward to the wedding in June. Rocks, sand, surf and 5 crazy ladies.... its going to be awesome.

Mich & Zeldia Roof top wedding

I was invited by my friend, Lorissa, to her cousins wedding. Lorissa and I haven't seen each other in a long time and I love weddings so the clear answer was "YES :-)". Were there is an occasion  my camera tags along.

The venue, Randlords, Braamfontein. I didn't know there are wedding venues in Braamfontein?  The venue is on the 22nd floor, with a breathtaking view over Johannesburg. It is truly an amazing venue for a wedding.

From the moment I saw Mich, I could see in his smile that love and happiness fills his heart. When Mich saw his stunning bride Zeldia coming down the aisle, his smile grew from ear to ear.

The food was excellent and presentation was flawless. After the lovely words spoken about the couple and Mich giving a great speech about his new life partner, we got the dancing shoes out and danced into the late hours of the night.

Thank you Lorissa for having me as your +1 for the wedding and thank you Mich and Zeldia for the opportunity to witness your love and commitment for one another.

Ross & Jessica - E-Shoot

My dear friend Renè, a very creative photographer, gave me the opportunity to join in the couple shoot of a work colleague.

We had the honour to work with the most amazing couple, Ross & Jessica. We met up at the Sasol Eco Park in Van Der Bijl Park late Saturday afternoon. With a breath taking sunset, we could capture lovely glazing reds and oranges on the couple.

I have never come across a guy that had  so much fun in front of my camera as Ross did. He was spontaneous and made it so easy to capture the love between the two. I can understand why Jessica fell head over heals in love and said yes to the charming Ross.

Thank you for letting us in your world and capturing all the smiles and laughter.

Wesley & Lynette - E-Shoot

We got together sunday morning in Florida park at the Rand Society of Model Engineers better known for the mini steam trains they build and showcase. It started out with cold and cloudy weather but the beautiful couple brought their warm smiles to create breath taking photos.

We got a few glimpses of blue sky and used it to add to our art work of photos filled with love.

Thanks to my friend Renè that joined me with the shoot. A BIG thanks to Wesley and Lynette for the opportunity to have so much fun with my camera and them giving me their most beautiful loved filled smiles.
