Night Photography

Prime lenses, something I got into last year. Growing in photography makes you learn new tricks of the trade. 50mm f1.4 was a great add to my photography gear. Loving every moment when I pop it on to my Canon 5D. The full frame makes a big difference and you can really push up the ISO to get a fast shutter speed and shoot handheld in low light conditions.

I joined Mosaiek church about a year ago. Very colourful and vibrant church. Mosaiek is all about community and a great church to meet new followers of Christ. Our bible study group attended the last service of 2012 and I had my camera with to take some memories. The 50mm f1.4 came really handy to capture the mood at church at night and the community that gathers after a great sermon.

I recently moved into a new apartment with a breathtaking view. After a rough week of moving in and packing out I could make time for a few pics. I got the tripod and camera out and took some night shots from our balcony.
