MOSAIEK - MUSICIANS AND FRIENDS

I have the honour to praise and worship God with the best musicians in Mosaiek Church. With a huge smile and jumping around, Francois leads the worship with his guitar. He has some amazing energy that he brings every Sunday night for God!

 

My dear friend, Juan Smith, comes from Nelspruit and joined Mosaiek at the beginning of 2013. His wonderful talent to play the guitar and sing like an angel is breath taking. Nadia, a new found friend plays the piano with swift fingers and a soft touch like Beethoven.

 

Just naming a few of my friends on stage at Mosaiek, we praise and worship God almighty every Sunday evening.

 

School Play - Game On

The stage was set and the kids dressed. Angry birds, Call Of Duty, Guitar Hero's and FIFA players were set to get the "Games On".

 

I was invited to photograph my friend, Anneli, school play. My Tutor and Teacher centre had their yearly school play at the church hall in Mellville. It was a lovely evening with family and friends filling up the seats to see the actors of tomorrow.

I would like to congratulate Anneli and the rest of the tutors involved with the play. Well done with an excellent performance and costumes. Looking forward to next years play.

 

 

 

 

Mosaiek - Last Supper

I had the privilege to be part of Easter weekend at church. Putting together the "Last Supper", the meal that Jesus had with His disciples before His crucifiction.

The venue was creatively transformed with smells of Arabic oils and perfumes. The mood was set with candles and for dinner was all the traditional foods of the early days in Israel. The tables was filled with red pomegranate , figs, fresh olives and olive oil, balsamic vinegar and every guest had a loaf of bread, fish and a crunchy for desert.

My dear friend Stephan Fanoy wrote a play for the occasion to play out what happened the day that Jesus was taken to Pontius Pilate and given over to the crowd for crucifiction.
 
It was a great evening in remembrance of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.

 

Tanya's 30th Birthday Party

Sweet sixteen, 21st, 30th, 50th... on and on the birthdays go and they just keep getting bigger and better.

I was invited to photograph Tanya's 30th birthday. The day was filled with family and friends gathering around the braais. A time to catch up and have a laugh or two about stories told of the good times. Each frying their own Chinese food. Mixing it up with chilies,  soy sauce and the must have for any Chinese food, sweet and sour.

It was a awesome celebration of another mile stone in Tanya's life and I'm very happy to have been a part of this joyful occasion.
